Dazzle Them: 3 Exciting Ways to Serve Sparkling Wine

This sponsored post features wine which should be consumed responsibly by adults who are 21+. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

When it comes to celebrating for the holidays (or any other time of year!) I love to play hostess.

I’m sure many of you are planning to have family and friends over so I wanted to share a few fun ways to dazzle your guest with sparkling wine!

First off, you’ll want to pick up something tasty and affordable. I’m using Michelle Sparkling Wines ($13) because I love the way they taste and they easily fit into my budget! Also, these wines are made from premium grapes sourced from Washington’s Columbia Valley. Only the best for my guests!

You can find Michelle Sparkling Wines at most major grocery chains.

Isn’t it pretty?!

This magical looking drink is easy to create but your guests will undoubtedly swoon over it.

Here’s what you’ll need: Michelle Extra Dry, champagne glass, cotton candy

Assembly: A few minutes before your guest arrive, add a medium sized chunk of cotton candy to a few stemless wine glasses.

As soon as you hear a knock on the door, add in the Ste. Michelle Brut. This sparkling wine is a little sweeter and has notes of apple and pear. Plus, it super bubbly which will add to the overall experience of sipping it!

Fun Option: sprinkle your cotton candy with edible glitter!

Glitter is perfect for every type of festive celebration! If only you could serve it up on a platter….. wait, you can!

Here’s what you’ll need: Michelle Brut Rose, edible glitter, biscuit dough (will be used to make donuts), butter, sugar, vanilla extract, milk, oil

  • Poke a hole in each biscuit and fry (shortcut:you can also buy plain premade dounts to glaze)
  • Mix up your glaze (1/4 stick butter 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 2 tablespoons milk)
  • After the donuts cool, brush with glaze and sprinkle with edible glitter

Serve up these sparkly treats with a bubbly glass of  Michelle Brut Rosé.  The wine is a lovely blush color that adds the perfect colorful touch to this dazzling party treat!

The Michelle Brut Rosé will also help cut through the decadent donut flavor and leave impressions of berries in the nose and on the palate. This delightful wine starts off dry and has a fruity aftertaste.

Fun Option: You can also swipe the glaze around the rim of a wine glass and then dip it in glitter for a shimmering effect.

A custom glass is a sweet and thoughtful way to make your guests feel special! Plus, wine markers are affordable and easy to use.

Here’s what you’ll need: Michelle Brut, Wine Markers

Assembly: Set your inner artist free and create a glass for each guest. This will also make it easy to keep track of everyone’s drink as the night goes on.

After you pour the Michelle Brut, invite your guests to bring their glasses with them to the dinner table. The Michelle Brut Pairs well with a wide variety of foods so it’s likely to be a great match for whatever you’re cooking up!

You’re all set to dazzle your guests this holiday season!  Be sure to stock up on plenty of Michelle Sparkling Wine for all of your upcoming gatherings!  Happy Holidays!
