I typically associate Rimmel London makeup with bold beauty looks. I love to wear their dark Bordeaux lipstick because of the intense pop it gives my lips. But you can also create very natural, summer-ready looks with Rimmel.
This weekend I used their shimmery eyeshadow paint (Scandaleyes in Rich Russet) to create a sparkly subtle eye look that added dimension without looking too dark or heavy. I also skipped the eyeliner and opted for a few coats of Rimmel’s Retro Glam Mascara. It separates lashes and adds some length but what you’re really going to love is how pigmented the color is. Without it, I would have had to wear eyeliner or my eyes might have looked too bare.
Lastly, I applied a little more shimmer to my lips with their Showoff Lip Lacquer. The shine and feel were great but I can’t say I’m completely sold on the color (stargazer). It’s too light for me, my natural lips are so dark that it didn’t pair very well!
Walking down the makeup aisle can be overwhelming. It’s fun to try new products but it’s a bummer when you spend your money on something you aren’t happy with. So hopefully you found this post helpful and you can walk into the drugstore with a game plan!
Until next time!
