I’m so thankful that it’s pretty much summer year round in Cali. I love warm weather and summer clothes and shoes and well… everything! It’s definitely my happy season. After hopelessly browsing online, wishing I could go on a shopping spree, I put together a list of cute and affordable summer shoes. Can you guess which pair is my favorite? (more…)
Hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken are great the first few times they’re served to you but they can get dull pretty fast, especially when your summer is likely to be full of BBQ food. (more…)
Tomorrow marks the first official day of summer! Don’t worry f you can’t make it to the beach, head to the craft store instead. Below are some super easy and fun DIY projects I found online. I’d really like to try each of them but with all the sleeping I plan on doing tomorrow, I might only have time for one. Lol
Enjoy! And let me know how your projects come out!
1. Customize a top with a cute word or saying: PAPER STENCIL SHIRT
2. Tie-Dye shorts your favorite color: TIE DYE DENIM SHORTS
3. Create seashell decor for your home: SHELL MONOGRAM
4. Treat your friends to refreshing drink: LEMONADE GIFT JARS

Happy Friday! I’m excited to announce that all my followers have been moved over to my new blog and I’m soooo happy to have you back!
Above is another re-styled look. I feel like it’s easiest to re-work bottoms because the eye naturally falls to your top first. Let me know which outfit is your favorite!
Blogging opens doors to new friendships with lovely people. It’s one of the best perks. You realize how many other dreamers out there are in hot pursuit of their dreams and it’s both inspiring & motivating. One such friend, Kristy recently opened an adorable etsy store, Winifred & Delilah.
Her pieces are cute, playful and handmade. And yes, they’re affordable! Lol. I love showing support for people who put their heart and creativity into something. So if you have a chance be sure stop by and browse her little shop! Her Links: Shop| Instagram| Twitter
Outfit details at the bottom :)
My entire outfit is from Ross! Which unfortunately means no links but I purchased everything recently so you’re likely to find it all in store right now (store merchandise does very but…they always have great stuff!).
Also, I’m enjoying rocking the messy bed hair waves. They fit my personality. Lol. Would you guys be interested in a tutorial?
Whenever I find a deal on something cool, fashion, or fun, you can be sure I’ll share it here. Us broke girls have to stick together….Lol. How else are we going to look cute without maxing out our credit cards?! Now on to today’s budget-friendly find.
When it comes to love, I’m a ‘forever & ever’ kind of girl, a true hopeless romantic. But when it comes to tattoos, that’s a pricey commitment I can’t full-heartedly make or afford. But does that mean I have to miss out on all the cute little body art designs?
Nope! Temporary tattoos have just reached a whole new level thanks to Tattly.com. They offer some of the coolest temporary tats. And they’re not just for grown-ups. In fact, the whole concept began with a mom wanting to create better looking, high quality temporary tattoos for her daughter to enjoy (There are lots of kid-friendly designs on the site).
So if you like the look of tattoos but you don’t want one that’ll last FOREVER, these are perfect. Or even if you’d really like to get one but don’t have the money yet, you can enjoy some affordable temporary designs in the meantime.
Did I mention the price tag? You get 2 tattoos for $5!! Crazy awesome or crazy awesome?

I’m going to be buying a set soon but I’m having trouble deciding! Let me know if you end up buying any and which one you think I should get :)
Happy Monday! Today’s look is inspired by a very popular fashion blogger, Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific. I love her style and her signature dark shades. I think my personal style has a different vibe but I definitely lust over a lot of her pieces.
My goal was to recreate an outfit similar to the one Blair had on HERE while still keeping it affordable. My skirt is actually a dress so that’s automatically 2 pieces for the price of one. My shades are a $5 swapmeet find! I love them. I’ve always wanted some cool Ray-Bans but they cost way more than five dollars. My sweater was $25 from Forever 21, but everything in the photo was already in my closet so I spent $0 on this look :)
Is there another blogger’s look you’d like to see recreated? Or maybe you’d like to see a celebrity’s outfit recreated in an affordable way? Let me know!
I saw a commercial featuring Lara’s new look and felt compelled to recreate it. If you wipe off my fake blood and lose my pseudo war wound bandages, you actually have a very wearable everyday outfit. And to me, that is one of the coolest parts. Most of my outfit was thrifted or already in my closet but I created a set with items to help you recreate the tomb raider look.
I really want to start doing more style thief posts and show you how to get the looks you love from movies, tv shows, magazines and anywhere else you can find inspiration. You can send me looks you want to see recreated via email: Niki@LoveNiki.com or leave a comment on my Facebook page: Facebook.com/MsLoveNiki
