Today is the beginning of a new series here on Love, Niki. Every week or so, I’ll be sharing a post entitled, “Advice from a Wife”, where I interview a married woman and ask her to share her insight, advice and thoughts on marriage, wedding planning, and life as a Mrs. I hope this series will help both newlyweds and soon-to-be brides navigate this new chapter of their life.
If there’s a question you’d like to see answered, please leave it in the comment section. Also, if you would like to be a part of this series and share your perspective as a wife, please feel free to contact me be using this form.Continue reading →
A last minute halloween costume ended up inspiring this fantasy shoot. With only a few moments to get ready for a halloween/birthday party this past Saturday morning, I threw together this simple gypsy look.
Will decided to take a back road on our way to the party and found this awesome photo spot. Isn’t it perfectly fitting?
I know most people only play dress-up once a year but I love creating fantasy looks year round. It’s so much fun!
I’m excited to hear what you think. Let me know what type of imaginative story comes to mind when you see this photo set.
I had the pleasure of working with the 99Cent Only Stores on a Thanksgiving decorating video!
You can get beautiful plates, chic glass and lots of cute decorations for only 99 cents! Have you visited a store lately? You’re going to be really impressed with their selection. You can find your local store by clickinghere.
I hope this video inspires you to host your own Thanksgiving dinner! I can’t wait to share more fun budget-friendly decorating videos!
So far so good with my weekly video goal! I incorrectly labeled my title card (things like this happen late at night) but instead of waiting to post I decided to tell my inner perfectionist to keep quiet and let me live my life! Lol.
Bring on the sweater weather, the hot chocolate, and everything knit! This girl is ready for fall! I’m normally all about the warm rays of sun but we could really use a break from the heat here in Cali. And a little rain would be nice. Lol.
Let me know where you’re located and if you’re excited to leave summer behind! Tty soon!
I’m so happy to be getting back to making videos! Today I’m sharing a quick look at my trip to Platinum Lashes in Glendora, CA. Let me know if you have any additional questions about eyelash extensions after watching!
A butterfly cannot fly in rain. Not only would the heavy drops knock the beautiful winged insect from the sky, the butterfly itself needs the warm rays of the sun to heat it’s flight muscles. But today is different. My sparkly butterflies are completely at ease amidst my water droplet nails.
I was inspired by the name of my new nail polish, Rainstorm by Sinful Colors. I’m loving the fantasy element of this post and hope you are too! More creative and whimsical posts to come!
Happy Monday! And hello to all my new bloglovin subscribers!
Friday I was featured on Lauren Conrad’s website and I’ve been smiling all weekend because of it. I’m excited to meet and chat with all the new visitors that stumbled onto my little blog. Please feel free to leave me your blog link in the comment section so I can stop by!
Today’s outfit, believe it or not, is another clearance find! Express has definitely impressed me with the cute pieces they have on sale. Next season I plan to hit the clearance sale early. I missed out on quite a bit because I went into the store towards the end of it.
I think this outfit is perfect for almost any warm weather special occasion. I’ve included a few links below if you’d like to try this look out yourself.
My little cousin graduated high school this year! It’s so strange when someone you held as a baby does grown-up things. Lol. This past Saturday I attended her graduation party and wore an outfit that was dressy but still somewhat summery. Continue reading →
