5 Happiness Quotes to Help You Get Happy!

happy puppy

In general, I’m a pretty happy person. Give me a puppy, and there’s a good chance that I might explode into rainbows and glitter. Lol. In case you can’t find something adorable and small to cuddle and you’re having a rough day, here are 5 great outlooks on happiness. Enjoy!

1.“The best feeling in the world is realizing that you’re perfectly happy without the thing you thought you needed” -Marxie

2.“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” –Steven Kloves (screenplay), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, 2004

3.“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley

4.“It isn’t what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about.”
 -Dale Carnegie

5.“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Although its time has come and gone, the what does the fox say music video will never be forgotten. I still remember how confused and amused I was the first time I watched it. Cheers to things that make us laugh! Since my top is not available anymore, I found a few cute fox themed items on Modcloth that I thought you might like.

“You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens.” – Rumi

I read this quote last night and for me, it translated into: everything that happens was meant to happen and you’ll be a better person because of it. Even when it hurts. And even though we may not understand the rationale behind certain life events.

I know the holidays can be tough for a lot of people for a lot of reasons but no matter what’s bringing you down this season, stay hopeful. Things always get better….if you let them. Fight for your happiness, keep your dreams alive and just keep going.

Lots of love,
