The LA County Fair provided me with compensation for my time. As always, all opinions expressed in this post are mine.
Summer may be coming to an end but that has not stopped the sun from coming out in full force! Typical L.A.!
Since it’s been so hot, I wanted to share a few fashion tips for beating the heat and maximizing comfort when you visit the L.A. County Fair. I don’t want you to miss out on all the fun just because Mr.Sun is blazing!
Also, I took these outfit shots right outside the Wonderland exhibit. You’re definitely going to walk through it!
Every Sunday from 10am-4pm (winter hours) you can enjoy Smorgasburg, an outdoor LA market filled with food, craft, and beverage vendors. There is no admission fee and parking is free for the first 2 hours! Free is word that rarely applies to anything in Los Angeles so be sure to take advantage of this one.
Another major perk is how big the space is (5 acres) and how minimal the crowd feels. I can deal with crowds pretty well but given the choice I would opt for lots of open space and fewer people. #IntrovertProlems
Last weekend, Will and I had a great time visiting the Griffith Observatory! We hadn’t planned on it but one of our photography clients requested the location for their family photo shoot.
Since we both had never been there (crazy right?) we decided to grab some Starbucks and head out early to scope it out.
The view is amazing. There are tons of hiking trails and picnic spots throughout the surrounding park. It’s a perfect date spot, reading spot, and yoga spot….if you’re into that. I wish I was, Yoga and I are sort of frenemies.
I love visiting new places, even if they’re only new to me and not the whole world. Lol. I’ve played with a few different ideas of how to include “local” travel into the blog but haven’t settled on anything yet.
Do you like reading about local spots worth visiting? What if they were geared toward my fellow couples, and focused on being “date night worthy”? Lol.
