At 25, I’m working to better define my style but learning and growing come with both triumphs and failures. The fun style video above is just a reminder that fashion should be fun and it’s okay to experiment with different looks, even if you decide later on that it’s not something you want to stick with.
Don’t be alarmed but I wear my clothes more than once. Actually, I wear them until they are worn out, stained, or upgraded and donated.
Would it be nice to have a closet so big that I only wore things once a month? Yes! But c’mon…this is real life and there are bills to pay. Lol.
Turkey time is almost upon us! It’s a lovely holiday that feeds the soul ….and my stuffing loving tummy. Lol. For this blog link up I asked a few fellow bloggers to share a Thanksgiving dinner outfit idea. They did a great job so be sure to stop by their blogs and check out their outfits! (Links at the end of this post)
For my outfit I wanted a somewhat dressy look but nothing overly formal. I’ll be honest, my sweater is what makes this outfit work. It adds that cozy holiday touch to a simple dress. Plus, it’s nice & warm :) You can check it out here at Kiki La’Rue or you can browse their other lovely coats HERE. I’m sure you’ll find something you like on their site!
Be sure to let me know in the comments if you would like to be a part of next Tuesday’s link up! The challenge will be…a chilly date night outfit!
Phillip Lim’s Boom sweater is adorable with just the right amount of nerdy charm. When I spotted it on Jessica Alba I fell in love and tried to snag one online early Sunday morning. No luck for me but I did start to notice how cute Jessica’s outfits usually are.
I really like that she dresses like a normal person. She seems to prefer kitten heels, boots, and other sensible shoes which is…refreshing. I don’t know when heels became the epitome of fashion. Yes, I know they look good and can be fun to wear but all day every day? No thanks! Lol
So which look is your favorite and where would you wear it?
I’d really like to wear the peach/coral blazer outfit to a dinner date :)
I had envisioned wearing this shirt dress with knee high sweater socks, boots, and a scarf but since it warmed up this weekend I had to switch things up a bit. I know everyone is saying this but I too am ready for Fall! I want to wear sweaters and boots and all things warm and cozy!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! Let me know if you need outfit ideas for anything :)
This past weekend, the world’s biggest lollipop made it’s way to the grove! I didn’t get a photo of it because we were running a little late but I did catch a glimpse of it sitting in a truck preparing to go wherever it is that giant lollipops go. It was pretty cool and trust me, it was just as big as you’d a imagine the world’s biggest lollipop to be.
I also had a chance to try The Fat Cow, one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants! I’m a major foodie, that’s part of what makes dieting so hard for me! Everything was tasty but I especially enjoyed the brussels sprout pizza. I never thought a pizza could be so…gardeny fresh and savory at the same time. It put the basic pepperoni to shame.
If you’re in the LA area I’d definitely recommend The Fat Cow for lunch. And if you try their burger, let me know how it is! Now back to my diet….Lol. Have a great day guys :)
Blogging opens doors to new friendships with lovely people. It’s one of the best perks. You realize how many other dreamers out there are in hot pursuit of their dreams and it’s both inspiring & motivating. One such friend, Kristy recently opened an adorable etsy store, Winifred & Delilah.
Her pieces are cute, playful and handmade. And yes, they’re affordable! Lol. I love showing support for people who put their heart and creativity into something. So if you have a chance be sure stop by and browse her little shop! Her Links: Shop| Instagram| Twitter

My entire outfit is from Ross! Which unfortunately means no links but I purchased everything recently so you’re likely to find it all in store right now (store merchandise does very but…they always have great stuff!).
Also, I’m enjoying rocking the messy bed hair waves. They fit my personality. Lol. Would you guys be interested in a tutorial?
My first official blogger event! I was beyond excited when I was invited to the Tommy Hilfiger Surf Shack blogger preview. I’ve been working on a web project most weekends so it was nice to have a little break and head to the beach.
I love that they decided to show this collection via traveling bus! Preppy + beachy isn’t the most common combination but they work well together. Everything was as cute and comfy as the stuff you imagine wearing on a sunny summer day but with a more classic look.
I had a lot of fun trying things on and chatting with fellow shoppers. And I’m dying to show you the jumpsuit I got! I was a little nervous trying it on, I knew it would be a major win or a major fail.
I’m really interested to see what you guys think about the new summer pieces. Check out the collection and let me know your thoughts! Surf Shack Collection
P.S. Photo credit & love go out to my awesome boyfriend. He writes, acts, produces and still makes time to help me do what I love! You can learn more about his adventures in the world of entertainment by visiting his FB page: William Camacho

I took an extra outfit with me to the desert on Saturday. Little did I know that the wind would be so intense! On the bright side I was able to get one non hair whipped face photo. Lol.
I’m still really loving the high-waisted skirt & crop top look. I just saw Kelly Osbourne’s Cosmo cover and I’m feeling inspired by her version of the trendy look. I want to recreate it using this skirt, a bustier, and a cute button-up. Maybe I’ll try that this weekend :)
Hope you’re all doing well!
Lots of love,
